Information we collect

YaadKar is built for shop owners to manage their own customers' records. The information below is entered by you, the shop owner, or read from your device with your permission — it is not collected from the general public.

• Your account details: your name, mobile number, and shop name, used to create and secure your account (sign-in is by mobile number and one-time code — YaadKar never asks for a password).
• Customer records you create: the names, phone numbers, addresses, and purchased-item/service details you enter for your own customers.
• Device contacts (read-only): if you use the "pick from contacts" shortcut when adding a customer, YaadKar reads the selected contact's name, phone number, and address to pre-fill the form. YaadKar only reads contacts you choose — it never scans, uploads, or shares your full contact list, and never writes to your contacts.

How we use this information

• To operate your account and keep your customer records available across your devices.
• To send you local reminders when a customer's service is due, and to schedule notifications.
• To let you switch the app's language and manage your own department/service list.

Where your data is stored

YaadKar stores your data on your device first (so the app keeps working offline), and syncs it to your account on our servers when your device has a connection. Your sign-in credentials are stored securely on-device using the operating system's secure storage.

Sharing

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. Limited technical data may be processed by service providers that operate the app's infrastructure (such as crash/bug reporting), solely to keep the app running correctly.

Your controls

You can turn notifications on or off at any time from Settings. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your account.
